Un'anziana signora tutta vestita di nero e indossante un velo nero che parzialmente ricopriva il volto gli consegna un pacco di dimensioni medie e ricoperto da abbondante carta di giornale. Goffredo incuriosito lo apre, e scopre il suo atroce contenuto: una testa di pecora grondante ancora sangue, con biglietto in cui c'era scritto "Perché sei tornato? Vattene questa non è più casa tua". Un giallo dai mille volti, dalle mille storie, che accompagna il lettore nelle varie trame che lo costituiscono, per arrivare ad un finale impensabile.

L'AUTORE - Marco Baroni, giornalista dal 1994, è nato a Forlì nel 1963, da sempre risiede a Roma. Nel corso della sua attività professionale ha svolto scottanti inchieste in Italia e all'Estero da cui ha tratto ispirazione per suoi scritti. E' Responsabile tra l'altro del sito Internet www.stenos.it e del canale web/tv www.livestream.com/stenos. Ha realizzato anche filmati che hanno ottenuto riconoscimenti internazionali quale il video "Le Fortezze dell'Imperatore" girato sugli altopiani di Folgaria e Lavarone ed incentrato sui fortilizi della Grande Guerra. Autore di articoli e libri bianchi e ha scritto numerosi libri gialli, spy story e volumi divulgativi, storici e di analisi socio/politica.
