Les opérateurs de téléphonie consacrent beaucoup d'énergie et de ressources pour maintenir la signalisation sans laquelle aucun service n'est possible. Vu l'importance de la signalisation dans l'établissement des services des usagers, il nous ait apparu opportun de faire une étude sur celle-ci en vue d'apprécier comment elle est déployée dans certains réseaux d'opérateurs au Cameroun. Notre travail est organisé en trois parties. Nous présentons en premier lieu VIETTEL CMR S.A. et de CAMTEL en mettant l'action sur les architectures des réseaux de ces deux opérateurs de télécommunication mobile camerounais. Ensuite nous décrivons les protocoles du système de signalisation SIGTRAN/SS7 et enfin nous donnons quelques procédures d'établissement de services utilisées dans ces réseaux mobiles.

Né en mars 1952, Docteur d'état ès sciences de l'Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse en 1987 dans le domaine de la microélectronique hyperfréquences. Universitaire spécialiste en télécommunications et en technologies de l'information et de la communication pour l'enseignement et la recherche, professeur à l'École nationale supérieure polytechnique de Yaoundé (ENSP) de l'Université de Yaoundé I depuis 1987. Vice-recteur en charge de la Recherche, de la Coopération et des Relations avec le Monde des Entreprises à l'Université de Yaoundé I de 2012 à 2017 Professeur Invité à l'Université de Bourgogne en France de 2006 à 2010, un mois dans l'année, et Professeur invité dans plusieurs universités africaines et des Caraïbes (Benin, Gabon, RCA, RDC, Tchad, Côte d'ivoire, Sénégal, Haïti) Membre du projet CLUVA ''Climate Change and Urban Vulnerability in African Cities) du 17ème Framework Programme 2010-2013 de l'Union Européenne.
