La conferencia musical de Leipzig, La tonalidad del pensamiento , que cont� con la interpretaci�n al piano de las piezas favoritas del autor, da t�tulo a esta obra y en ella Han expone los tonos y temas que atraviesan su filosof�a y repasa la importancia de la m�sica en su obra. En Oporto, en la conferencia Sobre Eros , el autor se pregunta por el sentido del amor, mientras que en Lisboa presenta Sobre la esperanza , una reflexi�n sobre la trascendencia de esta virtud en la actualidad.
La tonalidad del pensamiento es una obra que pone al alcance de los lectores los textos, las fotograf�as y el acceso en exclusiva a las grabaciones de las conferencias m�s recientes del autor.

Byung-Chul Han, today's most widely known contemporary philosopher and one of the most read worldwide, publishes with Paid�s La tonalidad del pensamiento.
In April 2023, Byung-Chul Han traveled for the first time to Portugal and delivered lectures in Porto and Lisbon. Days later, he also gave his first musical lecture in Leipzig. La tonalidad del pensamiento was born from these conferences.
The musical lecture in Leipzig, "La tonalidad del pensamiento", which included piano performances of the author's favorite pieces, gives this work its title. In it, Han presents the tones and themes that run through his philosophy and reflects on the importance of music in his work. In Porto, in the lecture "On Eros," he questions the meaning of love, while in Lisbon he presents "On Hope", a reflection on the relevance of this virtue today.
La tonalidad del pensamiento offers readers the texts, photographs, and exclusive access to recordings of the author's most recent lectures.

Byung-Chul Han (Seúl, Corea del Sur, 1959) es un filósofo experto en estudios culturales. Se le considera uno de los filósofos más destacados del pensamiento contemporáneo por su crítica al capitalismo y la sociedad del trabajo.
Es autor de más de una veintena de títulos entre los que cabe destacar: La sociedad del cansancio, La sociedad de la transparencia, Psicopolítica, No-cosas, Infocracia y Vida contemplativa. Todos ellos han sido traducidos a varios idiomas.
El trabajo de Han une tradiciones filosóficas orientales y occidentales, tomando ideas de pensadores como Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger, Michel Foucault, Sigmund Freud, Hannah Arendt y Walter Benjamin, entre otros. Explora temas como la tecnología y los efectos del neoliberalismo en los diversos aspectos de la vida humana, el poder, la comunicación, la vigilancia, el consumismo, el trabajo, la autoexplotación, la transparencia, los rituales, la inactividad y las identidades individuales y colectivas; y es considerado como el sucesor de pensadores como Roland Barthes o Giorgio Agamben.
Byung-Chul Han (Seoul, South Korea, 1959) is a philosopher specializing in cultural studies. He is considered one of the most prominent philosophers of contemporary thought for his critique of capitalism and the labor society.
He is the author of more than twenty titles, among which the following stand out: The Burnout Society, The Transparency Society, Psychopolitics, Non-Things, Infocracy, and Vita Contemplativa. All of them have been translated into several languages.
Han's work bridges Eastern and Western philosophical traditions, drawing on thinkers such as Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger, Michel Foucault, Sigmund Freud, Hannah Arendt, and Walter Benjamin, among others. He explores themes such as technology and the effects of neoliberalism on various aspects of human life, power, communication, surveillance, consumerism, labor, self-exploitation, transparency, rituals, inactivity, and individual and collective identities; and he is regarded as the successor to thinkers such as Roland Barthes and Giorgio Agamben.
