Alba Padró es auxiliar de clínica y consultora internacional de lactancia (IBCLC), y un gran referente en el mundo de la lactancia materna.

Con el nacimiento de su primera hija descubrió todo un mundo desconocido para ella: el de la lactancia materna. Desde entonces, no ha dejado de formarse y de ayudar de forma voluntaria en grupos de apoyo, realizar formaciones en centros sanitarios y asociaciones y, desde 2004, atender las consultas de millares de madres en el teléfono de consultas 24 horas de Alba Lactancia Materna, asociación de la que fue nombrada presidenta en 2016.

Pionera en el uso de blogs y redes sociales para difundir conocimientos sobre la lactancia materna, Alba Padró tiene cientos de grupos de apoyo y de consulta en Facebook y WhatsApp, creó el blog que da nombre a este libro, Som la llet, y en 2015 lanzó LactApp, la primera aplicación de lactancia materna que ofrece respuestas personalizadas según el perfil de la madre y del bebé.
