English summary: This study presents the two most important direct philosophical-theological disputes between East and West in 12th-century Constantinople: the disputes of Anselm of Havelberg (1095/99-1158) and the polemics of Hugo Etherianis (ca. 1120-1182). Through analysis of the immanent reasons of the disputants, corresponding traditions, and effective cultural models, the points of consensus and disagreement, as well as the acceleration of the alienation process in the second half of the century are discussed. The contemporary intellectual network between East and West is explored and emerges as much tighter and more intensive than one would expect.
