Thèse de Bachelor de l'année 2020 dans le domaine Etudes des langues romanes - Français - Littérature, note: 1,0, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, langue: Français, résumé Ce travail analyse dans quelle mesure l'automutilation de Floride dans l'Heptaméron (1558) et celle de Célidée dans l'Astrée (1630) peuvent être considérés comme des rébellions contre les désirs possessifs masculins. Dans la plupart des récits littéraires de la Renaissance, la femme prend un rôle d'un objet de désir passif, car dans un contexte d'hétéronormativité et d'hégémonie masculine, elle est victime, faible, privée de parole et d'action. Les seules issues à la possession masculine semblent donc le suicide ou une destruction de l'apparente source du problème du désir masculin: la beauté féminine. Pourtant, la destruction de beauté reste toujours dans un contexte de contrariétés sociales. Notre première question de recherche sera: si la vertu est attribuée à une belle femme de nature, la destruction de beauté égale-t-elle donc à une destruction de cette vertu attachée à la beauté qu'elle est censée préserver avec cet acte ? Deuxièmement, est- ce que le geste d'automutilation pourrait être compris comme geste qui virilise la femme dans la mesure où elle s'active pour ne plus être uniquement un objet de désir, voire qu'elle refuse activement et fermement d'être considérée comme un objet ? Notre troisième intérêt de recherche sera d'expliquer que d'un côté, l'automutilation féminine dans la littérature est une réaction à une agression masculine. De l'autre côté, nous allons discuter si - même s'il s'agit d'auto-agressions et autodestruction et ne pas de révolte contre l'autrui ou d'autre sorte, - on peut considérer cet acte d'auto-agence courageuse qui montre une capacité d'action.
