En Iran, cet objectif a été poursuivi moyennant l'adoption de la Loi sur le commerce électronique du 7 janvier 2003 . Bien que pour diverses raisons l'Iran accuse un retard regrettable en matière de commerce électronique, on peut se féliciter, malgré tout, de la volonté du législateur Iranien d'instaurer un corpus juridique adapté au commerce en ligne sans oublier le principe d'harmonisation.
