Dans le cadre d'une valorisation des ressources naturelles, par la recherche de nouveaux compos�s d'origine v�g�tale et l'�valuation du pouvoir allelopathique et bioherbicide de l'extrait foliaire de la plante spontan�e Haloxylon scoparium Pomel. r�colt�e au Sahara Septentrional Est Alg�rien vis � vis quelques adventices inf�od�s aux cultures c�r�ali�res soit Bromus rubens L., Phalaris minor Retz., Plantago lagopus L., Ammi visnaga L. (LAM) et l'esp�ce cultiv� Triticum durum Desf. L'�valuation de l'activit� de l'extrait v�g�tale a �t� faite par la m�thode d'extraction par reflux, qui nous a permis de d�terminer le rendement d'extraction est de l'ordre de 20,64 %. Alors que le criblage phytochimique de l'extrait foliaire montre une richesse remarquable en principes actifs; dont les alcalo�des, flavono�des, st�ro�des, st�rols et triterp�nes, coumarine, saponosides, quinone libre, cyanidine et tannins sont pr�sents en quantit�s plus ou moins importantes dans l'extrait. On note une absence totale des compos�s r�ducteurs, anthocyane et glycoside. L'�valuation du pouvoir allelopathique a r�v�l� les capacit�s bioherbicide chez l'extrait. Les r�sultats obtenus sont prometteurs, car l'extrait inhibe significativement la germination des esp�ces adventices. Par contre n'a affect� pas significativement la germination des graines de bl�. Les valeurs d'inhibition de croissance de la partie a�rienne et racinaire et les r�sultats de test de Fisher affirment le fort pouvoir bioherbicide de l'extrait de la plante �tudi�e, o� sa toxicit� � la plus forte concentration est comparable � celle de l'herbicide (T�moin positif). D'autre part l'effet simulateur au niveau des lots trait�s par les faibles concentrations, qui se manifeste par l'�longation ou l'augmentation du poids de la partie a�rienne et souterraine par rapport aux plantules du lot t�moin n�gatif.
