After the meteoric success of his first poetry collections, Sanglot des mots (2023) and La r�volte de la po�sie (2024), Ousmane Ambana returns with a daring novel, Le proc�s de la vie (The Trial of Life). Born on November 12, 1997, in Divo, Ivory Coast, this Malian writer explores subjects often considered taboo, with an incisive and uncompromising pen. This new work promises to spark serious debate and shed new light on themes rarely addressed in Malian literature.

I write anything and everything. The linearity of the story doesn't interest me; the harmonization of texts and paragraphs seems pointless. I'm not inventing any new forms of writing. All I want is to write a bat-like book, a book that doesn't submit to any canon of writing [...] The most excellent embrace is found in disorder. The animosity of the human species surpasses all understanding. Because of their egos, men kill each other, hate each other, and destroy each other.
