Margaret Malloch, PhD, is, Director of Research Training, College of Education at Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia, coordinating Postgraduate Research Studies programmes, including the Doctor of Education. Margaret is a Visiting Academic at Middlesex University, and the University of East London, UK. Dr Malloch has conducted development and training programs across Higher Education levels in Indonesia, Vanuatu and Thailand. Her biggest recent publication is: Malloch, M., Cairns, L., Evans, E., and O'Connor, B.N., (eds) The SAGE Handbook of Workplace Learning (SAGE Publications Ltd, 2011).
Bridget N. O′Connor, PhD, is Professor of Higher Education and Business Education at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University, where she teaches courses in higher education curriculum development, instructional design, and adult learning. She is a co-editor of The SAGE Handbook of Workplace Learning (SAGE, 2011) and the coauthor of two college-level textbooks that are in third editions End-user Information Systems: Implementing Individual and Group Technologies (Prentice Hall, 2002) and Learning at Work (HRD Press, 2007).
Len Cairns, PhD, is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education, Monash University from 2014 and is a Visiting Professor at Middlesex University (since 2000). Len has taught in Higher Education in Australia for over 43 years and has been a leading Australian Teacher Educator (Founding member and Past President of the Australian Teacher Education Association, formerly SPATE) and co-author of major works in that field (Sydney Micro Skills, 1973-1980; The Practicum in Teacher Education, 1982; Supervisor Development Programmes, 1982). He is co-editor of the SAGE Handbook of Workplace Learning (2011).
