Sei es im Job, in der Universität, in der Schule oder im privaten Bereich. Wir sollen als Menschen funktionieren und die an uns gestellten Forderungen bestmöglich erfüllen. Betrachtet man die Bundesrepublik Deutschland, so stellt man fest, dass man sie auch als Leistungsgesellschaft bezeichnen kann. Dieser Zustand wird einerseits sehr kritisch begutachtet, wenn man in diesem Zuge von einer Überperfektionierung der Gesellschaft ausgeht. Andererseits wird ebenfalls behauptet, dass jener Zustand noch weiter ausgebaut werden kann. Somit ist Leistung ein Prinzip, auf das sich die Menschen einer Gesellschaft hin ausrichten. Denn klar ist, dass Leistung mit einer Gegenleistung vergolten wird. Weiterhin sichert die Erbringung von Leistung eine gewisse Produktivität, sowie Lebensstandard und Fortschritt in der Gesellschaft. Über Leistung wird eine Hierarchie errichtet, sei es hinsichtlich der sozialen oder beruflichen Position einer Person. So kann an dieser Stelle kritisch hinterfragt werden, ob Leistung allein die soziale und berufliche Stellung innerhalb einer Gesellschaft bestimmt. Au erdem rücken die Fragen in den Vordergrund, wie sich Leistung als solches definiert und wie Leistung bewertet wird? Diesen Fragen soll in der folgenden Ausarbeitung nachgegangen werden. An erster Stelle wird der Leistungsbegriff bzw. der Leistungsbegriff innerhalb der Schule näher beleuchtet. Daraus resultierend soll ein Übergang zur Leistungsbewertung in der Schule vollzogen werden.
