Die vorliegende Untersuchung solI einen Beitrag liefern zur Behebung solcher Erschopfungszustande. Die beschriebenen Versuchsreihen stellen keine Auswahl dar. on allen durchgefUhrten Versuchsreihen sind nur die nicht beriicksichtigt, die vor- zeitig abgebrochen werden muBten. Das kam vor, wenn Versuchspersonen den Wohnort wechselten, oder wenn einige den immerhin anstrengenden Ver- suchen fernblieben, nachdem sie sich wieder hinreichend leistungsfiihig fiihlten. Um zu zeigen, wie die Wiederherstellung der Leistungsfiihigkeit sich voll- zieht, sind einige Versuchsreihen von jeder Art eingehender dargestellt. Die- jenigen Leser, die sich fUr diese Schilderungen weniger interessieren, konnen sich auch an Hand der graphischen Darstellungen, der Tabellen und der Zu- sammenfassungen am SchluB der einze1nen Versuchsabschnitte einen hinrei- chenden Einblick in die Versuchsergebnisse verschaffen.
