Albert Einstein, dans son article de la relativité en 1905, abandonne l'éther. Cela, plus ce qu'il dit de ses postulats, peut expliquer que cet article, et pas le autres, ai été autant critiqué. A Leyde en 1920, il reconnait l'éther de Lorentz pour la relativité générale, mais il lui retire son immobilité, sans pouvoir préciser pour autant, son mouvement. Ce n'est pas très clair. Nous avons trouvé une hypothèse très simple en mesure d'expliquer ce mouvement. C'est son article "L'éther et la théorie de la relativité" de 1921 qui nous a mis sur la voie. Il suffit d'appliquer la relativité générale à l'éther. Pourquoi quantique Les corpuscules de cet éther auraient une masse-énergie correspondante au quantum de Planck, comme ceux de la gravitation quantique à boucles. Des expériences sont proposées, ce serait dommage que des physiciens n'étudient pas cette possibilité.
