With its minimalist and to-the-point design, this method book introduces aspiring pianists to the fundamentals of piano playing and music reading without any fluff. Images of real keyboards show students where to place their hands for almost every piece, making at-home practice more successful. The accompanying workbooks for each level give students ample repetition so students can internalize and practice key concepts and gain comfortability in writing their own music. This method is an excellent tool for mastering basic techniques, gaining a solid foundation in music theory and keyboard geography, and exploring the world of composition and improvisation.

In Level A, students will gain complete comfortability reading simple rhythmic and finger number notation and will experience the magic of composition and improvisation all on the black keys. The simplicity of the music allows students the opportunity to focus on their hand and finger technique at the earliest stages of learning.
