L'auteur: Yaovi Akakpo a fait ses études supérieures en philosophie à l'Université du Bénin et à l'Université de Dakar. Titulaire d'un doctorat de 3ème cycle et d'un doctorat d'état, il est maître de conférences (CAMES). Il enseigne la logique, la méthodologie et l'épistémologie à l'Université de Lomé, où il est le responsable des formations doctorales en philosophie et le directeur du Laboratoire d'Histoire, Philosophie et Sociologie des Sciences et Technologies.
