Our concern for the environment stimulated this short Haiku conversation. With activists on the streets raising voices of truth, we voiced ours in a circular Haiku named life. Intertwining the joys of nature with the worries we observed each Haiku begins with the word from the previous one stimulating the conversation to take on a pace of its own.

Ní Aodáin, Clíodhna: - Clíodhna Ní Aodáin is a professional cellist, conductor, composer, teacher and creative artist. From a musical family in Dublin, Ireland, she currently lives and works in Bern, Switzerland. Clíodhna performs as a soloist and chamber musician internationally and loves to explore musical expression through improvisation. Her passion is music from Ireland and Scotland and she has created The Celtic Cello from this love. Clíodhna started writing Haiku as a way of expressing intense emotions and of saving beautiful memories. Each Haiku is a snapshot of a fleeting moment in Life.

Spring, Lorraine: - Born by the sea now living by the Swiss mountains, I`ve experienced many altitudes of life. Fascinated by nature`s intricate complexity and human-beings intricate complicity, what better canvas of life for inspiring poetry.Capturing the essence of emotions, observations or complexity in a Haiku is like a moment of breathlessness before the long outbreath of understanding.All this in conversation with a friend adds new perspective and inspiration. Another word; be, being, belonging... playing catch with meaning in anticipation of the bounce back. Words have multiple meanings and life has more meanings with a good friend to play Haiku-catch with.
