This volume, "Life Journeys toward Wholeness," focuses on wellness, transformation, and spiritual maturity. First, a holistic approach to personal wellness/healing by identifying some factors causing brokenness, imbalance, and disharmony and then by considering proactive remedies for the identified obstacles: wellness in physical dimension; wellness in psychological dimension; wellness in spiritual dimension. Second, a psycho-spiritual approach to integration and personal transformation toward True Self: *Self-knowledge by understanding personality types according to the Enneagram; *Self-realization by inner works of personal and spiritual transformation; *Self-transcendence by integrating the Enneagram's wisdom and Christian spirituality from the distorted ways of thinking, feeling, and doing (willing). Third, a better way toward spiritual maturity that is rooted in our radical trust in God--not trusting in human resources and our abilities-- will manifest all the fullness of faith, hope and love; *"Work of faith" by following Jesus Christ through spiritual discipleship; *"Steadfastness of hope" of anticipating the human's hopeful redemption through the in-breaking of the Kingdom of God; *"Labor of love' of doing justice and compassionate provision for those who are poor and in need. Fourth, a better place for "making people whole" is the Church--the body of Christ where hurting or lost souls are cared and/or cured and where believers are called to become compassionate disciples who are equipped with different spiritual gifts. They are: *Soul-caring a soul-curing; *Providing one another with love, acceptance, and forgiveness; *Witnessing our "Christ-likeness" manifested in our daily living, so that the world will know and believe the God of Creation, Redemption, and Sustenance; *Encouraging one another in our spiritual journeys together toward spiritual maturity. About The Author

She came to the United States of America after graduating from Ewha Women's University in Seoul, Korea. After she attained Ph.D. in Pharmacology, she worked as a research professor for the Univerisity of Pittsburgh, an editor for the Chemical Abstracts Service, and an owner Pharmacist. Then, she became an ordained clergy of the United Methodist Church serving six local congregations as the Pastor and three regional judicatories (Pennsylvania, Indiana, and New England areas) for the denomination as the church consultant, program/resourcing directors. After her retirement, she has written two books. She has mentored and coached many pastors as well as playing many advocacy roles for the victims of domestic violence and for the oppressed in this hurting world. Her vision is: Every Christians live toward personal wholenss and societal transformation by incarnating God's just-love by participating in Christ's ministry of reconciliation and compassion toward those who are poor and in need. Those who are endowed with the God's amazing grace, the resurrection power, and the spiritual gifts, can move forward by growing toward the spiritual maturity as the children of God by following the Christ's teaching and examples as his faithful disciples. Also, Christians live ever more fully into our objective life in Christ and by becoming participants of his ministry of reconciliation and compassion in this world. She is convinced that once we experience God's love, we want to pass it on to others. She wishes to invite you to experience the life in Christ, so that you want to spread his love to everyone, so that we all enjoy our life journeys toward wholeness: wellness, transformation, and spiritual maturity.
