Damit soll einerseits Lehrpersonen der Unterrichtsfächer Mathematik, Physik und Tragwerkslehre eine Grundlage für einen fächerübergreifenden Unterricht (Mathematik - Physik und in technischen Schulen Mathematik - Tragwerkslehre) zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Andererseits sei die Arbeit auch an Studierende gerichtet: Studierenden der Bauingenieurwissenschaften kann sie als Hilfestellung dienen, um die Inhalte aus den Grundlagenfächern Mathematik und Mechanik mit dem Fach Baustatik besser miteinander verflechten zu können. Die Baustatik kann als Bindeglied zwischen der Mechanik als Grundlagenfach und anwendungsorientierten Fächern des Bauingenieurwesens gesehen werden. Die Baustatik beschäftigt sich mit Tragwerken und der Berechnung der Verformung der Struktur und der Kräfte, welche in der Struktur wirken. Da Computer problemlos auch grö ere Gleichungssysteme lösen können, werden diese für baustatische Berechnungen eingesetzt. Dafür müssen allerdings die Probleme so aufbereitet und beschrieben werden, dass sie in einem Rechner implementiert und von diesem gelöst werden können. In diesem Kontext sind die Grundlagen der linearen Algebra wie Vektorräume, Matrizenrechnung, lineare Gleichungssysteme sowie lineare Funktionen für die Baustatik unerlässlich. Die Arbeit bietet interessierten Mathematikstudierenden eine Anwendung der linearen Algebra. In der Regel wird die analytische Geometrie der Ebene und des Raumes zur Motivation und Veranschaulichung vieler Inhalte der linearen Algebra herangezogen. In der Baustatik (und vielen
