Mit dem Kapitel iiber komplexe Zahlen solI eine solide Grundlage fiir komplexe Vektorriiume gelegt werden. Computeralgebrasysteme er leichtem Routinerechnungen, dienen aber auch wesentlich dem be grifflichen und inhaltlichen Verstandnis. Mathematica und Maple sind die Computeralgebrasysteme mit der groBten Verbreitung. Man hiitte die Rechnungen natiirlich auch mit einem anderen geeigneten System machen konnen. Das Buch besteht aus drei Komponenten. Repetitorium: Jeder Abschnitt beginnt mit einem kurzen AbriB der Theo rie. Hierbei werden Definitionen und Siitze nicht besonders gekennzeichnet. Es solI ein Leitfaden fiir die Wiederholung gegeben werden und Werkzeuge fUr konkrete Aufgaben be reitgestellt werden. Die eingefiihrten Begriffe werden zur Er leichterung der Orientierung auf der Randspalte hervorgeho ben. (ca. 20% des Buchumfangs) . Aufgaben mit Losungen: Die Aufgaben reichen in drei Stufen von der Einiibung iiber die Festigung eines Begriffs bis zu anwendungsorientierten Problemstellungen. Sie wurden in Lehrveranstaltungen und Klausuren erprobt. Die angegeben Losungen sollten als Vor schliige und Hinweise verstanden werden, die oft erganzt, op timiert und abgekiirzt werden konnen. Mit der Aufgabenstel lung wird stets ein Ubungsziel (operative Festigung eines Be griffs) oder ein Lemziel (Umgang mit einem Begriff im Kon text) verbunden. Diese Ziele werdenjeweils auf der Randspal te komprimiert. (ca. 60% des Buchumfangs)."
