About The Book

Das vorliegende Buch versteht sich in erster Linie als eine Aufgabensammlung für Studenten der Wirtschafts- wissenschaften und nicht als ein Lehrbuch. Vorlesungen der Autoren im Grundstudium der betriebswirtschaftliehen Fakultät der Universität Mannheim haben immer wieder ge- zeigt, da zwar kein Mangel an Lehrbüchern der Mathema- tik herrscht, da es aber häufig an adaequatem Ubungs- stoff fehlte, um das in den Vorlesungen vermittelte Wissen zu vertiefen und zu feStigen. Die angebotene Auf- gabensammlung soll diesem Bedürfnis der Studenten nach Ubungsm6glichkeiten Rechnung tragen. Bei der Konzipierung der Aufgabensammlung zeigte sich sehr bald, da eine Prisentation von Aufgaben ohne jeden Bezug zum Lehrstoff wenig sinnvoll ist. Lehrstoff und Aufgaben sind nicht trennbar, ohne da beim Lehrstoff der Bezug zur praktischen Anwendung und bei den Aufgaben der Allgemeinheitscharakter der mathematischen Sätze und Regeln verloren geht. Eine gleichzeitige Berücksichtigung von Lehrstoff und Aufgaben zwingt jedoch zu einer Setzung von Prioritäten. Im Falle dieses Buches ist die Präsenta- tion des Lehrstoffes wegen des Vorrangs der Aufgabensamm- lung zu einer Kurzfassung reduziert worden, die die wesent- lichen Sätze und Regeln ohne ausführliche Erklärungen und Ableitungen zusammenstellt. Eine solche Kurzfassung kann daher kein Lehrbuch und keine Vorlesung ersetzen. Sie bildet bestenfalls einen Rahmen, der einen Zusammenhang zwischen Lehrstoff und Aufgaben schafft und zur Beschäf- tigung mit den Aufgaben anregt. Die Kurzfassung eines Lehrstoffs bringt jedoch noch weitere Probleme mit sich. so au8 einaal ein nich unerheblicher reil aa heaa ischer Grundkenn nisse vorausgese z werden.
