About The Author

Blumenberg, Hans: - Hans Blumenberg (1920-96) was a German philosopher and intellectual historian. During his lifetime he was a member of the Senate of the German Research Foundation, a professor at several universities in Germany, and cofounder of the research group Poetics and Hermeneutics.

Driscoll, Kári: - Kári Driscoll is a senior lecturer in comparative literature at Utrecht University and an award-winning translator. He is the editor-in-chief of the journal Humanimalia and has published widely on the poetics of animality.
