Einleitung In dieser Arbeit m�chte ich einen Blick auf die literarische Sozialisation im Vorschulalter werfen. Dazu werde ich im Anschluss an die Einleitung im zweiten Kapitel zun�chst auf die Mediennutzung der Vorschulkinder eingehen. Schon Vorschulkinder nutzen ein vielf�ltiges Medienangebot aus Bilderb�chern, dem Fernsehen, auditiven Medien und den sogenannten neuen Medien. Bei der Betrachtung der literarischen Sozialisation in dieser Altersgruppe ist es sicherlich sinnvoll sich das Medienverhalten dieser Altersgruppe n�her anzuschauen, da Medien bereits bei kleinen Kindern eine gro e Rolle spielen und das Aufwachsen von Beginn an durch Medien gepr�gt ist und von Medien begleitet wird. Im dritten Kapitel werde ich dann die Anf�nge der literarischen Sozialisation n�her erl�utern. Dazu gehe ich zun�chst auf die ersten literarischen Wahrnehmungen in der fr�hen Kindheit ein. Im Anschluss daran folgt eine kurze Betrachtung des Vorleseprozesses und einige Ergebnisse aus der Vorleseforschung, da das Vorlesen eine wichtige Station bei der Heranf�hrung des Kindes an Literatur darstellt. Schlie lich gehe ich in diesem dritten Kapitel auf die Bedingungen der fr�hen literarischen Sozialisation ein. Die Familie spielt hier eine zentrale Rolle. Im vierten Kapitel stelle ich Ergebnisse aus aktuellen Vorlesestudien vor. Die Studien der Stiftung Lesen in Kooperation mit der Deutschen Bahn und der Wochenzeitschrift Die Zeit aus den Jahren 2007, 2008 und 2009 zeigen welchen Stellenwert das Vorlesen in der heutigen Zeit hat und wie h�ufig und von wem es praktiziert wird. Im abschlie enden f�nften Kapitel werde ich aus den Erkenntnissen der vorherigen Kapitel Schl�sse f�r eine m�gliche F�rderung der literari
