Sk. Sagir Ali is Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of English, Midnapore College (Autonomous), West Bengal. Besides English Literature, he has a passion for Islamic Literature, Islamic Feminism and South Asian Literature. He has also been awarded Junior Research Fellowship. He is pursuing his doctoral work at the Department of English, Jadavpur University.
