This is a book based on my interactions with refugee kids I have worked with in art. As I am interested in the topics of forced immigration, I decided to start doing projects to help with such issues, and this is a book that will be published and used for donations.

Zhang, Yueer: - Born in China and raised in Canada, the immigration process has never been easy for Yueer Zhang. She has always suffered from the idea of fitting in, and thus she wishes to tackle the issues regarding forced migration. Interested in art and refugee issues, in Grade 11 she decided to become an art teacher for refugee kids at Mathew House. From working with the students she understood the struggles of asylum seekers and decided to start a fundraiser for refugee students through the idea of an art book. She placed the thoughts and dreams of the students she taught in hopes of raising money for them and also to get more people to be introduced to the refugee crisis.
