About The Author

Lucy Rowland gained a degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Reading before becoming a children's speech and language therapist. She is the author of Jake Bakes a Monster Cake and Pirate Pete and His Smelly Feet. Ben Mantle studied Animation at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design before working as an animator in children's film and television. Ben has illustrated a number of children's books including Rudey's Windy Christmas and Callum's Incredible Construction Kit, which won the 2013 Bishop's Stortford Picture Book Award. He is also the creator of the award-winning The Best Birthday Present Ever! and The Best Christmas Present Ever!
