Drawing on his life experiences he addresses the issues he faced living in a human controlled world. Along the way, this first time author lend insights on how he adapted to life in a family as opposed to living in a pack. He builds the case that having an animal in one's life is a long term commitment that can enhance life beyond what can be achieved in many relations with humans. It just take a desire by both species to optimize the potential in the relationship. His observations about the relationship between humans and the animal kingdom and with each other are both thought provoking and at times humorous. For those willing to be open to perhaps a different perspective on human behavior reading Living with Humans(italics) will come away rethinking their cohabitation with the animal kingdom and maybe even with each other.

Chaps was born outside of East Lansing Michigan on January 12, 2001. He joined the family that he would spend his life with on March17, 2001. During his 17 years he lived in Connecticut and Naples Florida. A first time author, his love of travel, new experiences and meeting people coupled with his inquisitive mind, we believe led to his desire to share his perspective in Living with Humans. His final wish was that we publish his book and all proceeds received be donated to animal related charities. As always his wishes will be done.
