Insatiable, il s'intéresse aux écrits sous toutes ses formes, de l'emballage au roman ! Féru de littérature, il tente l'expérience et se met à écrire à son tour, souhaitant partager le fruit de son imagination. Il poursuit des études à l'Université d'Ottawa où il obtient un baccalauréat en lettres françaises et en histoire, puis une maîtrise en leadership en éducation. Depuis, il est enseignant de français et occupe présentement le poste de conseiller pédagogique en littératie au secondaire dans un conseil scolaire d'Ottawa. Dans ses temps libres, Pierre-Luc dévale les pentes en ski alpin, sillonne des lacs en ski nautique et se balade en kayak. Fervent voyageur, il a 182 L'Odyssée des neiges visité huit provinces canadiennes et dix-neuf pays à l'extérieur du Canada... et ce n'est qu'un début ! Après de nombreuses tentatives et des années de patience, il publie finalement aux Éditions David un roman d'aventures: Vingt-quatre heures de liberté. Par la suite paraîtront Ski, Blanche et avalanche, lauréat de plusieurs prix, et Disparue chez les Mayas, deux romans pour adolescents, ainsi que quelques récits pour la revue Quad9. Avec la publication de L'Odyssée des neiges, l'auteur poursuit ses rêves, soit ceux de faire voyager les lecteurs de tous âges, de les divertir et bien entendu de leur donner le goût de la lecture et - qui sait peut-être - de l'écriture."
