Als Betrachtungsgegenstand der Logistik wird ausschlie lich der Materialflu definiert, CIM wird als Konzept derGestaltung des Informationsflusses vorgestellt. Unter Zugrundelegung einer funktional definierten Logistik werden f}r die Bereiche Beschaffung, Produktion, Distribution und Entsorgung ad{quate Mglichkeiten der informationsflu technischen Unterst}tzung der jeweils anfallenden logistischen Aufgaben dargestellt ("Logistik aus Sicht des CIM"). Das Kapitel "CIM aus Sicht der Logistik" behandelt Integrationsaufgaben im Zusammenhang mit logistischen Fragestellungen, die funktions}bergreifenden Charakter haben. Hierunter ist u.a. die logistikgerechte Gestaltung der Produktionsplanung und -steuerung, der Konstruktion, der Arbeitsplanung und der CAM-Funktionen zu verstehen. Des weiteren wird untersucht, welchen Beitrag Logistik undCIM bei der Einbindung von gruppenzentrierten Organisationsformen - sowohl in der allgemeinen Form der Fertigungsinsel als auch in der technischen Auspr{gung eines flexiblen Fertigungssystems - in das betriebliche Umfeld leisten. Insbesondere durch die Betrachtung aktueller Themen (z.B.
