When people talking about traditional medicine from the Far East, most of them mean Traditional Chinese medicine. Without a doubt, Chinese medicine has a long history and rich experience, but the term "traditional medicine from the Far East" is much broader and includes medical knowledge from all over of East Asia. Through trial and error, Eastern medicine has accumulated for many centuries a great amount of experience, which is expressed in the use of specific herbs, in understanding the nature of the disease, acupuncture methods, etc. These differences are particularly noticeable in countries such as Korea, Japan and Vietnam. Korean medicine has influenced Chinese medicine, but has also been influenced by it for a long time, so the West prefers to study and use Chinese medicine, thinking that Korean medicine is a small branch of Chinese medicine. Many studies on the history and current status of traditional Korean medicine allow us to say that this is an original type of medicine based on knowledge and medical methods that indicate its unique characteristics. This book, as well as the previous book "Magic Wand," presents one of the unique healing methods of traditional Korean medicine.

Dr. David Drepak is an expert on the healing methods of Korean medicine. He is a practitioner and researcher of various acupuncture methods originating in Korea since 1993. He studied the Korean Orthodox Saahm Acupuncture method from Master Kim Byong Soon, and the Suji Chim method from Master Jaeh Ok Lee, who was a student of Dr. Tae-Woo Yoo, the founder of the system. Today, he is the director of the Korean Medical Clinic in Jerusalem and lectures in Korean medicine and acupuncture courses. As an experienced athlete, he specializes in sports injuries and injuries typical for martial arts, eating disorders, improving physical fitness for athletes, back pain, skin problems, and more.
