Mandy Colton is from Louisville, KY, and lives a very quiet life with her husband and teenage son. She is a voracious reader of romance and many other genres. The idea for the Way to Go series came from her own adventures during her years spent working in the travel industry. Most of the experiences that plague her heroin, Veronica Lane, actually happened to her or someone she knows. However, the circumstances were sometimes not as glamorous and may be embellished for the purpose of entertainment in the books. She claims that working in the travel business could be horribly stressful but equally laugh-out-loud funny at times. During her time in the industry, she met interesting people all over the world and enjoyed some priceless and comical experiences with a few, her groups, friends, and peers.
