Juliana L'Heureux is a free-lance writer and former home care and hospice administrator. Her published articles have appeared in multiple nursing magazines and newspapers, and she served as editor of the ANA-Maine Nursing Journal for two years.

Ann Sossong has practiced in the field of nursing for forty plus years in multiple nursing roles in clinical practice, and as a nurse executive, nurse researcher and educator. She is a Professor of Nursing at the University of Maine School of Nursing at Orono.
