About The Author

Prof. Ajay Kumar Sharma, a distinguished educator, is currently Professor and Head, Department of English at Maharaj Singh College, Saharanpur. With 28 years of teaching experience, he served as Principal of J.S. (P.G.) College, Sikandrabad, for two years. Under his able guidance, twelve Ph.D. and two M.Phil. degrees have been awarded to research scholars. Prof. Sharma, shaped by his schooling at the prestigious Rashtriya Military School, Chail, Shimla Hills, embodies values of discipline, obedience, and a passion for sports and academics. His published works encompass thirty-five articles in esteemed journals and anthologies as well as books, titled Indian Writing in English: A Kaleidoscope of Recent Criticism and Critical Perspectives on Indian English Literature. He has been awarded certificates of appreciation from various literary and social organisations for his exemplary contributions to pedagogy and social welfare.
