Mabel has never wanted to be famous. She's happy to let her clients take the limelight, while she works her magic in the background. But when her celebrity hungry boyfriend Adrian breaks up with her via the internet, Mabel has a choice to make. She can spend 2015 under her duvet, hidden in the shadows, or step into the spotlight and reclaim her reputation. With a push and a shove from her sister Xanthe, Mabel is soon wrapped in lycra and knee deep in glitter. The cha-cha-changes are coming thick and fast, and Mabel's got more than just a soggy salsa to contend with. She's kissed her sister's PA, her smouldering Spanish partner is teaching her more than just dance moves, and Mabel's only gone and bumped into her pompous ex and his new girlfriend. It's enough to throw anyone off their twinkle toes! Mabel is made of marvellous stuff, but is she strong enough to shake off the past and take over her make over? Quick step through the pages and find out!

Rochelle stumbled into writing in 2010, when her youngest child started all-day Kindergarten. It turned out her skills in constructing Sodor railway tracks, and cutting crusts off honey sandwiches were no longer high demand. So she found an ad in the newspaper for a Diploma in Creative Writing, signed herself up to study from home, and embarked on a year of squeezing study around parenting. In 2011, Rochelle had short stories accepted by magazines and radio. In 2012 she took first place in the Cambridge Autumn Festival Short Story Competition, all the while working hard on her first novel. In 2013 Rochelle crowd-funded the self-publication of her first novel, Lighthouse Love. The feedback was incredibly positive, and readers demanded more. So Rochelle is back in 2014, with her new novel, Making Over Mabel. As in all Rochelle's stories, you'll find a sprinkling of humour, a touch of whimsy and a liberal load of lusty romance, all with a Kiwi flavour!
