Stefanie Friedl wurde 1990 als das älteste von zwei Kindern in Linz, Oberösterreich, geboren. Nach dem Abschluss der Handelsakademie begann sie ein Studium der Rechtswissenschaften, welches sie aber zugunsten ihrer Leidenschaft, dem Schreiben, abbrach. Sie arbeitet in einem österreichischen Versicherungsunternehmen. Seit ihrer Kindheit liebte sie Bücher, schon früh entwickelte sich ihre Vorliebe für das Fantasy-Genre. Der Entschluss, selbst ein Buch zu schreiben, kam spontan 2014. Ein Jahr später veröffentlichte sie ihr Debüt Luchstränen, einem Gestaltenwandler-Roman, als Selfpublisherin.
