He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Fire Commissioners for Howell Township Fire District #2, and is a long-time contributing editor for Firehouse Magazine, and the Pennsylvania Fireman. He also serves as the Editor for the Respondersafety.com highway safety website.He enjoyed a 26-year career with the Newark, New Jersey Fire Department, serving as a Division commander, a Suppression Division Battalion Chief, Chief of Training, and Commander of the Hazardous Materials Response Team. He has also had a long career with the Adelphia Fire Company in Howell Township, NJ.
