Dr. M. Adithan, Professor Emeritus and founder Director, Academic Staff College at V.I.T. University, Vellore, has Ph.D. from I.I.T. Madras. He was an UNESCO Fellow at Ohio State University, U.S.A. and has more than four decades of expe-rience in teaching, research, training, and faculty development at I.I.T. Madras, N.I.T.T.T.R., Chandigarh, and V.I.T. Uni-versity, Vellore. He was a visiting Profes-sor at Brigham Young University, U.S.A. and at University of Technology, Malay-sia. He has also organized many innova-tive training programmes for faculty and industry professionals. He is a widely published author.
