Marriage Go Round The First Journey is a professional manual that can be used for couple or marriage therapy. This manual allows for the strategies and information within to be used as a systemic method of providing marriage therapy. However, the therapist may choose to use the resources within as a supplement to his or her method or style of therapy. This work includes a review of the negative and positive cycles of relationship and what needs to be done to heal and rekindle love in the couple's lives. Checklists, pre and post assessments, handouts, worksheets, and exercises for a multitude of therapeutic issues are included. Marriage issues that are measured include anger, historical issues and irritants, ability to resolve or manage conflict, commitment, service, priorities. emotional bonding, romance, sexuality, communication, trust, affection non-sexual, openness, admiration, appreciation, finances, having fun or common interests, and more.

F. Russell Crites, Jr, has worked for the public schools, psychiatric hospitals, a variety of agencies, and has had a private practice for over thirty years. He holds licenses as a marriage and family therapist (LMFT), a professional counselor (LPC), and is a licensed specialist in school psychology (LSSP). Russ also has his clinical membership in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), is a certified Clinical Hypno-therapist and holds many other certifications. Over the years he has spoken in local, state, regional and national conferences regarding Marriage and Family, Couple Issues, Parenting, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Family of Origin Issues, Codependency Issues and much more. Russ has provided staff development training for school districts, businesses, a variety of associations, and other agencies. In addition to this work Russ has had a number of other works published including books entitled, 'Bipolar or ADHD' and 'Executive Function Disorder'. He is the founder and director of Crites Psycho-Educational Consultants. Russ completed a B.S. in psychology with a minor in Bible and a M.S. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Abilene Christian University.
