Auf der einen Seite sind heute viele Maschinenteile und teilweise sogar deren Berechnung genormt, auf der anderen Seite gewinnen fertigungsgerechtes und damit wirtschaftliches Bemessen und sorgfältiges Berechnen steigende Bedeutung. Dies aber bedingt die Anwendung der Festigkeitslehre beim Nachrechnen genormter Teile oder die vollständige Berechnung neu zu gestalten der Maschinenteile. Das vorliegende Lehr-und Arbeitsbuch will den Studierenden wie auch den Ingenieuren in der Praxis eine Hilfe bei der Berechnung und Gestaltung von Maschinenteilen bieten. So führt die Darlegung des Stoffes im Sinne der Konstruktionsmethodik in den meisten Fällen von der Aufgaben- stellung über die Funktion, Berechnung und Gestaltung zu Lösungsmöglichkeiten. Das Werk" Maschinenteile" ist in zwei Teilen wie folgt aufgebaut: rn Abschnitt 1 "Ein- führung in das Konstruieren und Berechnen von Maschinenteilcn" wird dem Anfänger zunächst ein Überblick über den Vorgehensplan fLir das Schaffen neuer technischer Ge- bilde beim Konstruieren und Leitlinien für das Entwerfen und Gestalten gegeben. H in- weise auf richtiges Gestalten enthalten auf3erdem alle folgenden Abschnitte. Darüber hinaus wird in Abschnitt 1 an einfachen Beispielen die zweckmäf3igc Anwendung der Tec1111ischen Mechanik, z. B. das Ermitteln unbekannter Kräfte, Momente und Span- nungen und die Wahl von zulässigen Spannungen, Sicherheitszahlen sowie anderen Kenn- und Richtwerten gezeigt. Der einleitende Abschnitt fLihrt dann weiter bis in die Berech- nung auf Dauerhaltbarkeit, jedoch werden diese AusfLihrungen für das Verständnis der folgenden Abschnitte mit den einzelnen Maschinenteilen selbst nicht et wa vorausgesetzt.
