PD Dr. Tilo Arens und PD Dr. Frank Hettlich sind beide als Dozenten an der Fakultät für Mathematik der Universität Karlsruhe tätig. Für den Vorlesungszyklus Höhere Mathematik für Studierende des Maschinenbaus und des Chemieingenieurwesens erhielten sie 2004 gemeinsam mit anderen Mitgliedern ihres Instituts den Landeslehrpreis des Landes Baden-Württemberg.

Prof. Dr. Christian Karpfinger lehrt an der Technischen Universität München; 2004 erhielt er den Landeslehrpreis des Freistaates Bayern.

Dr. Ulrich Kockelkorn war bis zu seiner Pensionierung 2006 Professor für Statistik und Wirtschaftsmathematik an der TU-Berlin und langjähriger Vorsitzender des Ausbildungsausschusses der Deutschen Statistischen Gesellschaft.

Dr. Klaus Lichtenegger lehrt und forscht an der FH JOANNEUM, Graz (Österreich), im Bereich Data Science. Davor war er viele Jahre in der außeruniversitären Forschung im Bereich der erneuerbaren Energie tätig. Schonwährend seines Studiums der Physik und der Umweltsystemwissenschaften war er als Tutor und Studienassistent in der Mathematik-Lehre aktiv, und seine Begeisterung dafür, mathematische und naturwissenschaftliche Inhalte zu vermitteln, hat bis heute nicht abgenommen.

Dr. Dr. h.c. Hellmuth Stachel ist seit mehr als 25 Jahren Professor für Geometrie an der Technischen Universität Wien und in Forschung und Lehre um Anwendungsnähe bemüht.
