Les crustac�s pr�sentent un ph�nom�ne cyclique, la mue, pour leur d�veloppement et leur croissance, qui n'existe pas chez la plupart des autres groupes d'animaux d'aquaculture. Des changements biochimiques et physiologiques se produisent dans divers tissus des crustac�s au cours du cycle de mue. Les changements des composants immunitaires des crevettes associ�s � la mue ont �galement �t� �tudi�s dans une moindre mesure. Des variations h�matologiques du nombre total d'h�mocytes (THC) et du nombre d'h�mocytes diff�renci�s (DHC) ont �t� enregistr�es chez les individus et entre les esp�ces au cours du cycle de mue. Dans la pr�sente �tude, nous avons caract�ris� les diff�rentes classes de cellules sanguines circulantes chez Procambarus clarkii � l'aide de la microscopie optique, de la microscopie �lectronique, de la RT-PCR et de l'analyse par western blot. La distribution des h�mocytes chez l'�crevisse rouge des marais, P. clarkii, a �t� examin�e en relation avec le cycle de mue (post-mue, A, B; inter-mue, C; pr�-mue, D0/D1, D2/D3). L'effet du cycle de mue sur les cellules sph�ro�des des organes lympho�des (LOS) de P. clarkia a �galement �t� �tudi�. Les changements dans l'organisation histologique des organes lympho�des et la caract�risation des cellules lympho�des apr�s infection par le virus du syndrome des points blancs (WSSV) chez P. clarkii ont �t� �tudi�s.
