Was sind die positiven Seiten der Religionen - was die problematischen? Wo helfen sie und wo schaden sie? Wodurch unterscheiden sie sich - und was ist ihnen gemeinsam?

Über den Autor

Werner Gross, Dipl.-Psych., Psychotherapeut, Supervisor und Coach.

Dipl.-Psych. Werner Gross ist Psychologischer Psychotherapeut, Coach, Supervisor und Unternehmensberater; niedergelassen in einer Psychologischen Praxis in Gelnhausen. Er ist Lehrbeauftragter für Psychologie an den Universitäten Frankfurt/M. und Mainz sowie an mehreren Ausbildungsinstituten für Psychotherapeut(inn)en; Mitglied der Prüfungskommission zur Abnahme der Staatsprüfung (Approbation) für Psychologische Psychotherapeuten des Landes Hessen (2007-2024). Er leitete von 1994 bis 2017 im Berufsverband Deutscher Psychologen den BDP-Arbeitskreis "Religionspsychologie - Spiritualität - Psychomarkt" und entwickelte dafür den Kriterienkatalog "Was eine alternativ-spirituelle Gruppe zum problematischen Kult macht". Dafür erhielt er 2018 das Ehrenzeichen des BDP. Von 1996 - 1998 war er Mitglied der Bundestagsenquete-Kommission "Sogenannte Sekten und Psychogruppen". Er veröffentlichte verschiedene Fach- und Sachbücher zu psychologischen Themen (z.B. "Psychomarkt - Sekten - destruktiveKulte").
