Ziel dieser Studie war es, die Beziehung zwischen mentaler St�rke und dem Grad der Einsamkeit bei Bogensportlern zu untersuchen. Insbesondere wurde untersucht, wie Variablen wie Geschlecht, Alter, Trainingsalter, Bogentyp und internationale Erfahrung diese psychologischen Konstrukte beeinflussen. Bei der Untersuchung wurde ein kausal-komparatives Design verwendet, wobei die Grundgesamtheit aus lizenzierten t�rkischen Bogensch�tzen bestand. Die Stichprobe umfasste 221 Athleten (110 Frauen, 111 M�nner), die w�hrend der t�rkischen Meisterschaften 2018 durch einfache Zufallsstichproben ausgew�hlt wurden. Die Daten wurden mithilfe des Sports Mental Toughness Questionnaire (Sheard, Golby & Wersch, 2009; t�rkische Anpassung von Pehlivan, 2014) und der UCLA Loneliness Scale (Russell et al., 1978; t�rkische Anpassung von Demir, 1989) erhoben. Es wurden Kruskal-Wallis H- und Spearman-Korrelationsanalysen durchgef�hrt. Die Ergebnisse zeigten eine m� ig negative Korrelation zwischen der Unterdimension Vertrauen der mentalen St�rke und der Einsamkeit und eine m� ig positive Korrelation zwischen der Unterdimension Kontrolle und der Einsamkeit.
