He developed his views on knowledge assets as a knowledge worker in Human Resource Management in Mining, Insurance, the delivery of Televised Education and Training, Information Technology services, and Financial services.His main areas of specialisation are systemic problem solving, change enablement programmes, personal growth and purpose development, as well as discourse processes and dialogics. Johan recently developed an "Energy Investment in Human Capital" programme with Johann Symington (to develop holistic wellness and prevent burnout), and has designed and delivered several large-group interactive events (the largest one being for 550 people).With Knowledge Resources, Johan has published works on dialogue and facilitation (in the Nuts & Bolts series), as well as Viable Business Strategies in 2003 with Professor Marius Ungerer and Maurits Pretorius (the 3rd edition was published in 2011) and Transforming Your Employment Brand (with Laetitia van Dyk) in 2003.
