Krishnamurti, Chandrashekar: -
Chandrasekhar Krishnamurti is a Professor of Finance at the School of Commerce, University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He has held teaching positions at the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Business School (Singapore), Monash University, Auckland University of Technology, and the Indian Institute of Science (Bengaluru). He has a PhD in finance from the University of Iowa, USA. He has published in major international journals such as Financial Management, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, and Journal of Financial Research. The areas of his research interest are market microstructure, corporate governance, emerging markets, international finance, and carbon finance.
S. R., Vishwanath: - Vishwanath S. R. is a Professor of Finance at the School of Management and Entrepreneurship, Shiv Nadar University, Gautam Buddh Nagar, UP. He has held academic positions at S. P. Jain Institute of Management; T. A. Pai Management Institute; Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, Sharjah, UAE; and the Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur. He was a consultant with the Tata Management Training Center in Pune, India, during 2006-07.
He is the recipient of the Ruth Greene Memorial Award, the Best Workshop Case Award and the Jonathan Welch Award from the North American Case Research Association, and the Unilever-Dewang Mehta Best Professor in Financial Management Award. He has been nominated to Marquis Who's Who in the World and Madison's Who's Who in the World.
He is the author of 6 books and 80 cases in corporate finance, investment management, and mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring for various publications. His research examines trading mechanisms at stock exchanges, performance and risk taking by family firms, the value of certification and analyst recommendations of IPO firms, the effect of taxes on investor and corporate behavior, and the role played by anchor investors in the market for IPOs.
He has presented his research at major global conferences such as the European Financial Management Association Asian Conference, Asian Finance Association Annual Meeting, Journal of Corporate Finance Special Emerging Markets Conference, Financial Markets and Corporate Governance Conference, and the North American Case Research Association (NACRA) Annual Meeting.
