Les sports, la danse, mes écrits sont mais seuls amis pour atténuer mes douleurs qui m'accompagnent chaque jour. Face à tous les maux de la vie sur la terre (faim, soif, chaleur, froid, douleur, déshonneur, pauvreté, solitude, trahison, calomnie, prison, harcèlement, deuil, chômage, manipulation..) nous portons chaque jour notre croix. La douleur est une donnée de la condition humaine, nul n'y échappe. Elle nous frappe n'importe où. La peine implique la souffrance. Elle imprègne nos gestes, traverse nos pensées, elle nous contamine. Nous souffrons dans toute l'épaisseur de notre être. De ce fait nous ne nous reconnaissons plus, et personne autour de nous, découvre que nous avons cessé d'être nous-mêmes. Cette affliction nous fait vivre à côté de soi-même sans pouvoir se rejoindre. La vie est faite de lourds fardeaux à supporter et l'expression porter sa croix vient souvent recouvrir ces pesanteurs qui alourdissent notre existence

Depuis son enfance, Modvareil gribouille sur des lignes et des lignes pour exhorter les violences morales et physiques. A l'aube de ses soixante-cinq ans, elle a décidé de partager ses maux en mots. Ce sont des ressentis sur de vastes sujets. Ces mots se transforment en une suite ininterrompue de phrases. Des phrases qui racontent les assauts d'une vie parfois douloureuse, la condition de femme blessée et meurtrie, les combats, l'existence de chaque instant pour exister sous forme de poésies et de romans, enfouis au fond de son coeur. Infatigable, elle noircit des pages et des pages pour renaître de ses cendres. Un espoir de guérir à jamais de son passé. A ce jour, elle a réussi à parcourir un long chemin pour pardonner aux autres et à elle-même. C'est un véritable besoin pour elle afin d'aller de l'avant.
