Abgrenzung des The: mas, Ziele Besti: m: mte Merk: male wie die Verschleil3erscheinungsfor: m konnen wesent- liche Hinweise auf den Verschleil3zustand und fur die Opti: mierung der tribotechnischen Ele: mente einer Maschine geben, schon bevor Funktions- untuchtigkeit der Bauteile durch Verschleil3beanspruchungen eintritt /2/. Die Betrachtung der Verschleil3flachen ist de: mnach ein wichtiges Hilfs- mittel der Verschleil3analyse. Die Erscheinungsfor: men geben Auskunft, ob durch Storfaktoren andere Verschleil3arten oder andere Wirkungs: mechanis: men auftreten, die den erwarteten Verschleil3bedingungen uberlagert sind und die zunachst nicht vorhersehbar oder nicht zu vermeiden waren.
