This book is an attempt to deal with these and other related issues. It essentially examines the connection between sustainable development and migration. We will discuss issues together such as why do people immigrate; the blurred boundaries between and within categories in the study of migration (voluntary/forced migration, legal/illegal migration, labor migration and more); theories of international migration; immigration and borders; the securitization of immigration; environmental migration and 'climate refugees'; and the complex network of connections between migration and international development.
