Massimo Donato nasce a Messina nel 1970, diplomato in studi tecnici, ha frequentato per molti anni vari corsi di arti marziali presso la scuola Otzuka di Roma. Rimane folgorato, all'inizio degli anni 80, da vari anime (cartoni animati giapponesi) trasmessi dalle tv nazionali e private. Collezionista e grande appassionato di gran parte delle pubblicazioni comics americane Marvel e DC. Lettore di mitologia e cultura orientale, nonché amante di generi storici e fantastici. Dotato di una grande immaginazione e propensione al racconto, alla descrizione di ambienti e luoghi lontani. Inizia quasi per gioco a scrivere Miiko, per poi appassionarsi sempre di più alla sua scrittura, coinvolgendo la cara amica Michela Tranquilli. Nata a Frascati (RM) nel 1982, è un'artista marziale. Da tanti anni si allena con dedizione apprendendo molti stili. Nel 2014 ha aperto un corso di Kung Fu per bambini e ragazzi, trovando uno spiccato interesse nell'insegnamento. Amante dell'arte in tutte le sue forme, dipinge e disegna, in particolare si dedica ai ritratti, ed ha frequentato una scuola di teatro partecipando a diversi spettacoli anche da protagonista. Per seguire la passione e propensione artistica e creativa ha scelto come lavoro quello di grafica pubblicitaria, occupandosi anche di illustrazione, impaginazione e campagne pubblicitarie. Da sempre divoratrice di libri di tantissimi generi differenti, ultimamente si è espressa nella scrittura come dedica in particolare al suo Maestro di Kung Fu e agli amici.
