W.C. Blackmon is a professional Speaker and spoken word artist who served for many years as a Conflict Resolution Consultant in his hometown of Tallahassee Florida. He later stepped away from that rewarding position in order to carry forth his sincere passion and belief that every person possesses the ability to achieve greatness. Consequently, it is not an uncommon occurrence to find him behind prison walls providing guidance to, speaking with, and listening to talented individuals give riveting and powerful speeches. Due to his own life experiences and overcoming of great odds, he is a living example of this belief of inner greatness. A world Champion power lifter, it was while on the competition platform that he learned the importance of being oneself, and that the only person one truly has to compete against is him or herself. When W.C.is not speaking or writing, you might find him in the gym challenging his body, or in a local sports bar spending quality time with friends.
