In this book, the authors address the architecture of the 2/3G network and the Long Term Evolution (LTE) network. The book proposes analytical models that make the analysis and dimensioning of the most important interfaces, i.e. WCDMA or Iub, possible. Dr Wisniewski received the M. Sc. and Ph.D degree in telecommunication from Poznan University of Technology, Poland, in 1995 and 2009 respectively. Between 1995-98 he worked as a software designer and in 1998 he joined PTK Centertel (Orange) Polish mobile network operator where he was responsible for planning and optimization the dual band 900/1800 GSM network and UMTS FDD network. Since 2001 he has been in charge of radio planning and optimization of GSM and UMTS network in the western part of Poland.
